- Ministry of Culture, Tourism & Hospitality
Government is conscious of the great tourism potentials and rich cultural heritage (human, non-material and material resources) which the State is endowed with and as a result it created the Ministry of Tourism and Culture to coordinate the activities of the sector aimed at accelerating the pace of development.
- Ministry for Local Government and Chieftaincy Affairs
The Ministry for Local Government and Chieftaincy Affairs oversees the operation of Local Government and Chieftaincy Institutions in Plateau State.
- Ministry of Works
The Ministry of Works is a Professional Service Ministry charged with the responsibility of providing Technical Services such has Design, Construction and Maintenance of State Roads, and provision of Mechanical and Electrical Services. It also renders Professional advice to other arms of Government on Technical matters.
- Ministry of Justice
The Ministry of Justice was a legal department under the then Northern Nigerian Government. By Northern Nigeria Legal Notice No 10 of 1966, that is, the “Interpretation of Law, Cap 52, Change of Tittles Order” with effect from 1st April, 1966, the Department became a full fledged Ministry
- Ministry of Water Resources and Rural Development
The Ministry of Water Resources and Rural Development was constituted in 1999, with the main responsibility of promoting development and improvement of rural infrastructure for stimulating sustainable growth of rural productive activities.
- Agriculture and Natural Resources
The Ministry of Agriculture performs the function of promoting agriculture and rural development by implementing appropriate State Government Policies and approved budget, encouraging and facilitating the adequate production of food and agro raw materials for the teeming population of Plateau State and the agro industries. The ministry carries out these functions through seven department and four parastatals. The ministry is manned by various professionals in the field of agricultural, so as to meet up to the challenges as are presented.
